Missions

Part of the St Cuth's Yoof's vision is mission. This year we are involved several missions....

Katie on the Palmers Green Community Project
'During my week mission at Palmers Green we learnt many skills; how to interact more with others, how to step out of our comfort zone and make new friends. As soon as I arrived I felt really nervous, thinking I wouldn't have such a good time because most of us had never met before, but that changed towards the end and now I'm friends with every single one of them. During that week we set up a community bbq with the Tamil church, prepared a high tea party for the elderly, helping improve the area by painting and gardening, balloon releasing and videoing around town, space at Starbucks where everyone's questions about God were answered, a massive picnic at the end of the week, waking up extremely early for prayer meetings and late at night celebrations. I really enjoyed myself and would definately do it again next year :)'

This summer some of the young people have also gone on Scripture Union residential weeks.
