This picture is Tereza in her first line-management meeting. Tereza arrived in the UK for her gap year on the 3rd September last year looking very nervous and wondering what on earth she was getting herself into.
This year we have seen her grow, try new things and mature. She has grown in confidence. There have been tears, challenges, excitment and laughts. Tereza has done All age talks, shared her testimony in school, translated in our local school and led bible studies - not to mention all she has done with nflame. This week we have seen the evidence of how she has changed and grown - standing up in church sharing what God has done in her life and also, becoming the stand up impersonator at the nflame BBQ. At the beginning of the year she was scared to stand up in front of anyone and hardly said anything to me in meetings.
Today, when I said goodbye, she looked different to how she had last September. She has matured and learned a lot. What the next chapter holds, remains to be seen, but I look forward to seeing what unfolds. It is not really 'goodbye' because she is determind to return to the UK, so when she flies home on Friday it is really 'Au Revoir'.
I am going to miss you T, who will Subway with me next year! ;-)
