It was a weekend of fun in the sun. Saturday was the Fun Day in the church grounds: the maturer members of the congregation playing apple bobbing and orange under the chin. (Shame that there was no camera to hand - or maybe it was good!) A constantly roaring BBQ, face painting and crafts. It was such fun and it was all FREE for the community. Sunday afternoon we had a BBQ for the families who's young people came to the groups at the church. Croquet maybe considered a game for the aristocrats but the competitive streak in the players was evident and the 'vicar in training' enjoying trying to reconcile team members. The sun shone down on us and it was a lovely afternoon. Hanging out and spending time together.
Bring on GO.Fest! Even more time together having fun!
